I am wondering, at what age do you stop getting pimples? No this is a serious question since I cracked the door on forty. The big 4-0! When I was in my 20s I remember hearing women cringe at their approaching 40th birthday. Oh, how times have changed. I not going to say it. Ok, I will say it…Forty is the new 20? 25? 30? Something like that. I was never one to get many breakouts growing up. I have to thank you to those genes. Yes, I get it from my momma. Keep reading and I will let you in on a product I found to help me combat these pimples.
Now that the venting is out-of-the-way, let’s talk about some of my at-home beauty products I use for a facial. There is nothing wrong with pampering yourself at home. You have to treat your skin between professional visits. You want to have a good foundation if you wear make-up.
Here are some of my go-to beauty products for an at-home facial.
Vanity Planet Facial Spin Brush
Shea Moisture Mud Mask
Rose + Collagen Face Serum
My go-to moisturizer is Ponds. Don’t get me wrong, I am okay trying another brand. Ponds is my moisturizer buffer between trying something new. Yet, I always will find my way back to Ponds cream. It’s my holy grille. Everyone has something they swear by. I also liked the Neutrogena Hydro Boost and will probably buy this product again. If you do not have witch hazel (toner) handy, try using apple cider vinegar. Dab a little on a cotton ball to go over your face after cleansing. We all know apple cider vinegar is good for many uses.
If you do not own a spin brush of some sort, Vanity Planet has sales often. I like the fact that this one includes a storage case.
Now, here is the bonus product.
I started off venting about pimples. Now let’s talk about how I fight disrespecting pimples. I recently found these acne treatment swabs by Revive. The claim is to fight pimples, blemishes, and future breakouts. The swabs are wrapped individually. you can treat pimples under your makeup with this treatment. This is a fast-acting treatment. Once I feel a pimple about to flare up I am breaking into a swab. Since using I haven’t had a flare in the last month. I know it might not completely stop the flare up, but I am happy to be ready for combat.
