Oh yes, let’s talk about Cookies and Cocktails! An event hosted by DFW Black Bloggers and it was a success. There were fellow Dallas bloggers, chefs and business owners at the studio.
The event held at Kessler Baking Studio in Dallas. The studio opened in 2014. It was my first time visiting Kessler Baking Studio. I love the feel and look of the studio. You will feel at home when you walk in. Get your order and have a seat on the porch and enjoy your delicious cookies.
Think about a time when you came home from school looking for a treat. This dessert store is that feeling in your adult life.
What a treat! You have a great choice of dessert made from scratch daily. The Owner, Clyde (the Bow Tie Baker) is very nice and personable. As you walked into the event area, he greeted you with the cocktail of the day. A spiked Arnold Palmer cocktail was also a hit. OMG, it was heavenly.
He took some time to discuss the cookies on the board with me. I like that the cookies are on a rotation and/or a seasonal flavor.
Get this, my taste buds are already set to try a cookie made in the fall. I know, I know….why what you are thinking. Yes, we are in the spring. But the Ginger Honey cookie is calling my name.

Oatmeal Cream Pie Cookies aka “Miss Debra”
This oatmeal cookie sandwich stole the show for a day. Miss Debra was not playing with your sweet tooth and taste buds.
Oatmeal Cranberry Walnut Cookies
I actually did not taste this one until I got home and wanted something sweet later in the day. This is the bakery’s signature cookie. Voted the best cookie in Dallas.
Blondie Cookies
This one was my favorite cookie of the day.

There are some gluten-free dessert options to enjoy. Kessler Baking Studio has you covered. Clyde talked about how he is planning on expanding the bakery to include more outdoor seating and coffee. Did someone say coffee? I am so here for this!
