3 Of My Favorite Breakfast Smoothies

When you need to get your daily servings of vegetables and fruits in…you enjoy breakfast in a glass. I am not a big fan of breakfast, you have to find quick fixes. I use my trusted Nutribullet.  Smoothies! Smoothies! Smoothies! These are my quick fixes using peanut butter, berries and spinach.  Well not blended together.  If I do not make a smoothie to drink on the way to work, my breakfast tend to happen after 10 am and close to lunch time.  This is one habit I want to break.  I do keep oatmeal at my desk on red alert.

During the week I tend to make smoothies.  I have three smoothie favorites I make and drink on my drive to work.  My favorite I want to share three smoothies I like to make. Most of the time I use frozen fruit. If you choose to use fresh fruit, I would suggest adding a cup of ice.

Many people have their go-to breakfast drinks.  I am sharing my three favorite smoothies.  Most of the time I use frozen fruit. If you choose to use fresh fruit, I would suggest adding a cup of ice.

I prefer unsweetened almond milk in my smoothies.  I did not make the grocery run this time.  You know how that is.  In this case, you can drop the honey.  I still used a little in this smoothie.

This is my favorite green smoothie.  I like to blend my spinach and kale into a liquid first.  I use water for this.

Very Berry

  • 1 cup frozen Raspberries

  • 1 cup of Blueberries

I occasionally add protein powder to the very berry smoothie.

I want to get into the habit of prepping my smoothies and storing in the freezer.  A time saver having them ready to grab, dump in the blender and go. What is your favorite smoothie to make?
