Event: Inside Lincoln Luxe Experience featuring Marsha Ambrosius

The Star in Frisco is the home of the Dallas Cowboys new practice facility. I like to call The Star my new backyard due to the proximity to my home. I can not wait to see this area fully built out and one of the main attractions in Frisco, Texas.

Last night there were a couple of event going on at The Star. One of the events was the Dallas Cowboys Plaza party. The Dallas Cowboys like to fire up the football fans before Sunday games. My visit to The Star this weekend was all about Lincoln Motor Company. I had the pleasure of attending a private #LincolnLuxe event at the Lincoln Experience Center. The Navigator and the Continental were instead show stoppers. I wanted to take a look at the MKZ but it was not available.

If you are in the market for a new car and like to customize, the Lincoln Experience Center is the place to go. A no hassle experience if a Lincoln vehicle is what you are looking for.

DJ Frances Jaye is always on point. If you are in the Dallas area, you have to experience Frances Jaye spin. She is a DJ you want at your events. The music experience and record choice is always a plus.

The mic was blessed by the one and only, Marsha Ambrosius (aka Nyla’s mom) as she called herself. She is famously known as a member of the amazing duo Floetry. Marsha’s voice is amazing. The latest single “Luh Ya” is a nice uptempo jam. She is a great talent and I can’t wait to hear new music. Congratulations new mom and thank you for the vocals.

There were complimentary refreshments and hors d’oeuvres were appealing. I enjoyed the chardonnay from the open bar. It is rare for me to finish a glass of wine let alone two glasses. I had to chat with the bartender for the brand. It was the 2016 Chardonnay Central Coast California from the McBride Sisters Wines. I can find the brand at Kroger stores.

I will absolutely enjoy creating my version of the apricot and gorgonzola cheese hors d’oeuvre served at the event. It was hands down my favorite going around. I want to say this was my first time trying gorgonzola cheese. Apparently, gorgonzola cheese is in the same family as blue cheese. I am not a fan of blue cheese but the cousin gorgonzola is tasty.
