This season I am reaching for two brands to help keep my skin hydrated and moisturize. Although the weather is warm here in Dallas my melanin glow is a must. My skin can get a bit dry, so preparing for the cooler weather is a must for me. I added to my stockpile during the Bella Kinks Expo in October. I would have been a fool not to because both booths were having awesome deals. It is amazing to support black women-owned companies. Tis the season for these two natural brands.
Urban Hydration Naturals

Think food when you think of this brand. That is what the owner said when she talked about her company at the expo. The main ingredients are vitamin A, vitamin E and coconut oil. I am reaching for Coconut Oil Body Wash with Lemon Extract and Coconut Oil Sugar Scrub with Lemon Extract. It does its job getting my skin clean and smooth. A 32 oz bottle of body wash with a pump is held up in my shower. I love the easy dispenser. You don’t have to worry about holding the bottle or it becoming slippery. I exfoliate my skin weekly. I love these natural products to keep my melanin skin glowing.
Elle Vie Body Butter
Moisturizer
I have two favorite body butter scents from Elle Vie. I purchased Date Night and Social Butterfly a couple of times already. Yes, I like and reach for this moisturizer that much. The body butter keeps your skin soft and smelling delicious. I receive so many compliments and questions about what perfume I am wearing. When I use this whipped body butter, I do not wear perfume. There is no need when the scent is alluring on its own. A little goes a long way. The body butter melts into your body and lock in the moisture for the day. This whipped body butter is also made of all natural products that include vitamin A and E like Urban Hydration.
